“The remodeling and reworking of the golf courses has really spruced things up at Doral,” Eggeling says.
“What’s great is that they did it in such a way that it didn’t take away the personality of the TPC Blue
Monster. Instead, the changes have enhanced the personality of all of the courses. The new Jim McLean
course was a really fun challenge, and all of the courses were in superb condition.”
Off the course, the world-famous Spa at Doral has received a $5 million renovation. The famed Pritikin
Longevity Center is now located at The Spa at Doral, adding to the facility’s world-class spa treatments,
fitness center, indoor/outdoor salt-water pools, Yoga and meditation center and spa restaurants.

Mojo Chicken and Grouper Oscar. The lively, sophisticated atmosphere at Mesazul includes unobstructed
views of the TPC Blue Monster course. Meanwhile, Bossa Nova is a lounge located in the resort’s clubhouse
lobby that features live Latin and Jazz music, a unique selection of boutique sipping rums, Latin-inspired
tapas dishes and hand-crafted specialty drinks.
